Proteix was founded in 2005 as a joint endeavor of scientists from the Institute of Microbiology of Czech Academy of Sciences and the biotech company Apronex. The company thus profits from both academic and commercial know how and technologies and applies it in the generation of innovative reagents and technologies for the life science market.
